Adjustment of the sanding modules is quick, simple and exact. For combination modules, the pressure bar can be engaged as well as disengaged. The pressure bar height can also be adjusted in order to allow for grit compensation

Belt guidance
The belt guidance system assesses the workpiece using a lightbeam and activates the electro-pneumatic belt guidance system, which adjusts the belt fowards and backwards.
The belt control system regulates the running of the belt with electronically guided photo cells.Should the belt be at risk of coming loose, the belt control system cuts the belt motor immediately.

Perfect sanding results
Powerful motors ensure perfect sanding results. The constant power transfer is a significant factor for the high quality sanding finish.

Infeed speed
In-feed speeds of 5 and 10 m/min are available. Depending on wood type, grain or general state of wood, the amount removed is gradually reduced as the in-feed speed increases
|

|
Automatic thickness measurement
The automatic thickness measurement function facilitates the desired workpiece thickness machine setting. No additional gauges are required to measure the workpiece thickness as it can be measured directly on the machine. The desired depth of cut can be pre-selected on the adjusting handwheel; + and – settings are possible.

|
Brushing equipment
As an option, on the delivery side of the machine, it is possible to set up a brushing facility. Different brushes can be inserted and their task is to clean, polish or structure the workpiece surface.

|
Feed and delivery roller table (Option)
Upon request we can equip your Felder wide belt sander with an additional roller support both on the infeed and outfeed side of the machine.
